“They don’t have art classes in our school. I have never painted before. Painting in these painting classes at home is fun.”
Living on a reservation, most Native Americans are limited in their education, including art education. Providing art classes to tribal member youth is always a treat for the kids.
CreativeNative hopes to be able to offer more art classes to the local community in Warm Springs. Learning how to free your mind, and express your mind is important. Native Americans have a history of trauma, art helps heal this trauma by creating positive outlets for healing.
Buying our art will help support these future art classes. CreativeNative plans to fund future art classes for the youth and community to attend. Sharing creativity with an underprivileged community will be a blessing.
